The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has found the quality of care provided by Drs G Streeter, N Potter, J Morgan & R Estall also known as Marden Medical Centre in Marden, Tonbridge Kent to be Outstanding following an inspection in March 2019.
Inspectors rated the care at Marden Medical Centre Outstanding for being caring and well led and Good for being safe, effective and responsive.

Ruth Rankine, Deputy Chief Inspector of General Practice in the South Region, said:
“I am delighted that Marden Medical Centre has take to heart our original inspection report from May 2016 and built on it – not just in those areas where improvements were required but in their stronger areas too. They are providing high quality service with high quality integrated care and treatment. The service is a real asset to providing and very valuable service to the vulnerable in this area of Kent
“Staff were dedicated to providing a proactive approach to understanding the needs of vulnerable patient groups and staff delivered care in a way that meets patients’ needs and promoted equality while providing treatment with dignity and compassion.
“This is a great example of what outstanding care looks like and the team at Marden Medical Centre should be very proud of what they have achieved to date.”
The report highlights a number of areas of outstanding practice, including:
The practice was an integral part of the local community and actively promoted the health of the population
The culture of the practice and the way it was led and managed drove the delivery and improvement of high-quality, person-centred care.
Leaders had an inspiring shared purpose, striving to deliver and motivate staff to succeed. There was a strong culture of continuous improvement
