Bridges Family Support Service - Bolton Council was rated Outstanding overall and for safe and well-led services, and Good for effective, caring and responsive services.
At the time of the inspection 38 people were receiving care.
A full report of the inspection has been published on the CQC website: www.cqc.org.uk/location/1-340698398
Debbie Westhead – Deputy Chief Inspector of Adult Social Care said:
“A brilliant result and shows that sustaining high quality care is indeed possible. We again found the service to be very proactive in supporting people with their care needs. They have also continued the work we saw previously to provide better understanding nationally about issues that affect young people.
“Positive feedback continued to come in about this service and the people we spoke to during the inspection told us they felt safe and reassured by the staff there. We also saw how the service researched people’s preferred activities. Even if they presented risk, the service helped them in fully enjoying their interests and activities but made sure they were safe.
“Clearly the relationships they have developed with the people they support, and other agencies, has helped them learn and understand the needs of young people. All this work has made a positive difference to people’s lives and helped them live independent lives. Well done again.”
