Helena Dennett, Head of Adult Social Care Inspection, said:
“This service was really making a difference to people’s lives and was demonstrating excellent person-centred care. People receiving support told us they felt empowered to be independent and in control of their care, and caregivers were thoughtful and considerate to their needs. There was a strong focus on staff developing positive relationships with the people they supported and fully understanding their needs.
“The leadership team were clearly driven to provide high quality care and continually improve the service and were very professional. They sought and understood the needs of both the people receiving support and staff, so the care was as tailored as possible. There were positive relationships with local healthcare professionals and organisations too, ensuring the best possible care was provided.
“It is also a fantastic achievement for the Home Instead group, to have 50 services rated Outstanding overall. Congratulations to everyone involved.
Kate Terroni, Chief Inspector of Adult Social Care at the Care Quality Commission, said:
“I would like to congratulate everyone at Home Instead on the fantastic achievement of having 50 offices rated outstanding. Our inspections have consistently shown that people who use their services receive exceptional personalised care from a well led team.
“We want everybody to have access to the best possible care and will continue to support providers to share best practice, ensuring that more people across the country are able to access the highest quality care.”
