Organisations we regulate

You must tell us if you are no longer providing any of the regulated activities included in your registration.

If you have temporarily stopped providing the regulated activities, we call them 'dormant regulated activities'. If the regulated activities are likely to remain dormant for more than 12 months, you may need to apply to remove them from your registration.

You might have stopped providing the regulated activities at all or some of your locations. For example you might have temporarily stopped providing the activities while you refurbish one or all of your locations.

When an activity has been dormant for 12 months, we may:

  • remove the regulated activity from your registration
  • vary the conditions of your registration and remove the location from your registration
  • meet with you as part of our management review process to decide the best action to take

How to notify us about dormant regulated activities

You need to decide if you intend to start providing these activities again in the future.

Are you likely to start providing the dormant regulated activities again within the next 12 months?
