Organisations we regulate
Some services are exempt from the requirement to display ratings
You don’t need to display ratings if:
- your service shows tick or cross symbols or
- it has not yet been inspected or rated.
Services that do not need to display ratings are:
- blood and transplant services
- children's homes carrying on regulated activities
- dental services (except those provided by an NHS trust)
- independent services providing: hyperbaric chambers, pathology laboratories, podiatry
- independent services that only provide cosmetic surgery not involving the use of intravenous sedation, general anaesthesia or the insertion of an implant
- IVF clinics licensed by the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority
- national screening programmes
- prison healthcare services
