You have a right to expect safe, caring, high-quality care.
To help us check that you are getting good care, we need to hear what you think about the health services you use. Your feedback is very important, as it tells us when, where and what to look at when we inspect.
What you need to tell us
- Are you treated with dignity and respect?
- Do care staff listen to you?
- Is the service clean?
- Is it easy to get an appointment?
- Is your care bad?
- What needs to improve?
If you know that a friend or family member is getting poor care, you can tell us about it too.
If you have a complaint
If you make a formal complaint about a service it’s the duty of the service itself, complaints ombudsmen and professional regulators to settle the complaint for you.
But we check to make sure that services handle complaints properly and that they learn from them.
