The Care Quality Commission has found the quality of care provided by Care 4U Wolverhampton, to be Outstanding following an inspection in March.
Care 4 U Wolverhampton is a domiciliary care agency which provides personal care to older adults people living in their own houses and flats in the community.
Inspectors found staff were caring and compassionate and people were being provided with safe, responsive, caring, effective and well-led care.

Under CQC’s programme of inspections, all adult social care services are being given a rating according to whether they are safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. Care 4 U Wolverhampton is rated Outstanding for being caring and well-led, and Good for being responsive, safe and effective.
Maggie Hannelly, CQC’s Head of Inspection for Adult Social Care in the central region said:
“Our inspection team were impressed by the level of care and support offered to people in their own homes by staff at Care 4 U Wolverhampton, which we found gave them an enhanced sense of quality of life and well-being.
“The provider was passionate about providing person centred care. The leadership within the service was strong and an open and a positive culture was promoted.
“People and their relatives were extremely positive about the care provided by the service and said that they felt safe receiving care in their homes.
“Everyone said staff went above and beyond what was expected from them and people spoke highly of the extremely friendly, caring and kind staff who came to visit them
“People were placed at the centre of their care and people told us they felt listened to and valued by staff by the staff who supported them.
“All of this meant people received a high standard of care, which is why it has been rated Outstanding.”
Andrea Sutcliffe, Chief Inspector of Adult Social Care, said:
“The quality of care which our inspectors found here was exceptional and I am very pleased that we can celebrate the service’s achievements.
