The Care Quality Commission has rated the care being provided by Complete Care & Enablement Services Ltd to be Outstanding after an inspection in February and March 2019.

The service is part of the CareTech Community Services group and provides personal care to people in supported living services, and in their own homes. At the time of the inspection 13 people were being supported by the service.

Previously the service was rated Good overall. At the latest inspection the service improved to Outstanding for being responsive and well-led. Safe, effective and caring were rated Good. Complete Care & Enablement Services Ltd was rated Outstanding overall.

A full report of the inspection has been published on the CQC website: www.cqc.org.uk/location/1-841756281

Sheila Grant, Head of Adult Social Care inspection, said:

“This service has worked very hard since we last inspected and improved the way they care for people to an outstanding level.

“There was in house expertise supporting staff to make the right decision and receive timely guidance in a number of areas. People’s life goals and preferences were central to the care they received from the service. Staff learned what people wanted from their care and worked with them to improve their independence and help them challenge themselves in a safe but unrestricted way.

“We also saw some interesting uses of technology to further engage people with their care. The service was led by clearly passionate and motivated management who sought the views and feedback from everyone involved so the care could be appropriately tailored. Well done to everyone involved with this service, a well-deserved result.”
