We spoke with two people who received a service from Attention2Care and two relatives to gather their views and experiences. They told us they were happy with the way staff supported them and the tasks they carried out for them. One person told us, 'The staff are very attentive. I am very impressed with them.' Another told us, 'It's an absolutely great service. I am very happy with it.' People who received a service told us the staff knew what support they required and did everything that was needed for them. Relatives told us the agency had gone above and beyond what they expected them to do. One person told us, 'They always keep me informed of my relative's welfare. They are brilliant, I can't fault them.'We looked at three care records. We found they contained comprehensive information about the person and were up to date. We also looked at some of the staff records.
We spoke with two members of staff and looked at three staff personnel and training files. We found they contained the necessary recruitment documents and checks. We saw evidence staff had received training. Staff we spoke with confirmed this.
We spoke with the Registered Manager about the methods they used to check they provided a good service to people and that people were satisfied. We saw satisfaction surveys had been sent to people who use the service and staff in September 2013.
