During a routine inspection
We found that patient's needs were assessed and care and treatment was planned and delivered in line with their individual care plan. One patient told us that the GP checked all the other moles they had as well as the one they came about and was very kind. They also said that the GP, 'Gave me advice about sitting in the sun". Another patient said, "The doctor explained everything clearly and discussed something off topic (a different skin condition)".
People who use the service were protected from the risk of abuse, because the provider had taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening. All the people we spoke with told us they felt safe when using the service. One person told us, "The doctor put me at ease".
The provider had an effective system in place to identify, assess and manage risks to the health, safety and welfare of people who use the service and others. However, feedback from people who used the service was not obtained which meant that the quality of the service people received was not monitored.
