During a routine inspection
The practice did not have a leaflet available and at the time of our visit was in the process of developing their website. There was a need for a practice leaflet to be developed to inform patients of the services available, type of appointments available, how test results are communicated and the practice chaperone procedure. This would ensure that patients were supported to get the most appropriate help and treatment.
The practice had an up to date child protection policy and procedures in place. This information included contact details for staff to raise concerns with the appropriate agencies.
We saw records were kept of adverse events, accidents or incidents including actions taken. The practice completed audits/reports following significant events or receiving complaints, in order to learn and make improvements as required.
