During a routine inspection

We spoke with people who used the service and they told us they had been happy with the service they received. They confirmed they had been given enough information to help them make a decision about their treatment and staff had been polite and helpful.

Comments included: 'Everything was fine, everything was explained', 'I expressed my concerns and they gave me information about what they thought was the best treatment' and 'Nice, helpful staff'.

We found that Destination Skin Manchester St Johns clinic provided people who used the service with appropriate information and support in relation to their treatment. People experienced safe and effective treatment and care provided by competent and properly trained staff. The provider maintained appropriate standards in relation to cleanliness and infection prevention and control.

We found that the provider had systems in place to assess and monitor the quality of the service provided and had identified and managed risks relating to the health, safety and welfare of people who used the service and staff.
