During a routine inspection
We spoke with six people during our visit who were attending for examination or treatment. All of them told us they were very satisfied with the service. One patient said 'It's very satisfactory. I'd recommend it to other people'.
People told us that their views and experiences were taken into account in the way the service was provided and delivered in relation to their care. They stated that their privacy, dignity and independence were respected.
We looked at feedback comments received from people. These showed high satisfaction with the service. One person wrote 'I've been coming here 8 years and it's a great dentist'.
People who used the service were protected from the risk of abuse, because the provider had taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening. Staff we spoke to had a good understanding of their safeguarding responsibilities.
The practice had been awarded the British Dental Association 'Good Practice Award' for the fifth year running. We saw that a robust record audit system was in place.
We saw that the practice was clean and tidy.
