We spoke to three people who used the service. They told us they had been happy with the service received. One person told us: 'I feel fine. They offered other treatments but I didn't feel under pressure.' Another person said: 'They gave us the smallest details.'The risks and benefits of treatments were explained to people before they were asked to provide consent. People signed a consent form before beginning treatment and this was reviewed regularly.
The clinic was in a good state of repair, appropriate maintenance checks were carried out to ensure premises were safe. Equipment was subject to regular checks and there were protocols in place to ensure equipment was used properly.
There was a complaints process in place that was available for people to read. Complaints were logged and reviewed for any learning actions.The provider undertook a range of pre-employment checks. However they did not undertake criminal records checks and could not demonstrate that they had considered and assessed the potential risks of not undertaking these checks.
