During a routine inspection
People's needs were assessed and care and treatment was planned and delivered in line with their individual care plan and in a way that was intended to ensure people's safety and welfare.
People who use the service were protected from the risk of abuse. Staff received training in relation to safeguarding vulnerable adults and were able to describe to us what constituted abuse and what action they took if they suspected this.
Staff received appropriate professional development and were able to access training relevant to their role. One staff member told us, 'I love doing the treatments but want to expand my job role, I spoke to [manager] and explained what I would like and they have supported me to receive the additional training.'
We found that people who used the service understood the care and treatment choices available to them and were treated in a manner that protected their dignity and confidentiality.
