During a routine inspection
One person told us ''There's a massive thing to read and sign first time.'' This provided information about the person's medical history and other details which helped the staff complete a risk assessment which was signed by both the member of staff and the person to whom the care plan related. At each attendance at the clinic people were then asked to confirm the details of their original information and, again, sign to signify consent to the treatment continuing.
Throughout our inspection we saw people treated with dignity and respect.
The policy and local multi-agency arrangements for safeguarding were known and understood by staff.
One person told us ''They know what they're doing and they're very good at it.''
The Registered Manager also told us about the action that had been taken as a consequence of complaints, incidents and comments from a 'mystery shopper'.
