During a routine inspection
People told us staff visit them within the agreed timeframe. One person said, 'We receive a timesheet and staff are there within a few minutes either side of the agreed time'. Another person said, 'Yes, staff record daily notes and refer to the care plan, they also record the time they arrive and leave'.
Staff were knowledgeable of people's health and personal care needs and how they wanted those needs to be met. We found information of people's specific personal care needs and choices within their care plan were limited. We spoke with the agency and stakeholder who commissions care to the agency. We found improvement were underway to improve detail within peoples care plans and supporting documentation.
The provider had not ensured all appropriate recruitment checks were undertaken before staff began work. We have asked the provider to improve.
