During a routine inspection
We noted that three staff were dedicated and completed all assessments for care provision in agreement with the people using services. Relatives were involved where instructed by people using services. One relative stated 'I was given the opportunity to attend interview panels for the recruitment of staff to ensure that carers understood the needs of service users'.
One person said, "I'm very satisfied with the service; everything is going very well." People confirmed that they had regular meetings with staff to discuss their care which we confirmed from care records.
The people we spoke to confirmed that they were treated with dignity and respect and that their privacy and independence was respected. Staff confirmed that they always respected people's privacy in providing personal care and only did what people requested them to do. Staff said they maintained people's dignity at all times and gave them choices in all daily living activities and these were evidenced in the daily care logs, supervision notes, care reviews, referrals and alerts sent to Social services.
