During a routine inspection
We saw there was a structured timetable of group activities in place to encourage personal development in peoples rehabilitation programme.
People we spoke with told us they were happy with their treatment and support at Withnell House. They told us they enjoyed group therapy sessions. One person said, 'I have got a lot out of the group work. It can be hard but it's not meant to be easy.'
People told us they felt safe at Withnell House. They said staff were helpful and caring and supported them well. One person told us that they could approach any staff member about problems or issues they may have. Another person told us, 'There are enough staff around for us if we need them.' Two staff members we spoke with told us staffing levels had recently increased and this had benefitted the running of the service.
