All inspections: Mount Olive Residential Care Home

At the time of our inspection there were two people living at the home, both of whom had lived at the home for more than 15 years. One person able to express themselves told us "it's good, I like it".

We saw evidence that the provider worked in partnership with healthcare providers and other organisations to ensure peoples health and welfare need were met. The provider had systems in place to ensure the safe management of medicines at the home.

We found that the premises were accessible and appropriate measures were in place in regards to the maintenance and security of the home.

When we visited the home in June 2012 we used a number of different methods to help us understand the experiences of people using the service, because the people using the service had complex needs which meant they were not able to tell us their experiences.
