During a routine inspection
We spent a significant proportion of our time talking with the Registered Manager who is the consultant plastic surgeon. He explained the patient journey to us which included the consultation and, information given to the person about the treatment recommended including associated risks and expectations and costs. We saw from the five clinical files we looked at that treatment or procedures which were carried out were specific to the person and based on their needs and preferences.
We looked around the premises and saw it was clean and well maintained There were systems in place to ensure the premises were secure and people's privacy and dignity was respected. The complaints procedure along with information about the consultant plastic surgeon and services provided was on display.
