During a routine inspection

People who used the service told us they had experienced appropriate treatment and care. One person said, 'I'm very happy from start to end with all the care and staff thank you.'

People told us they had opportunities to ask questions and these had always been answered. One person said they had requested some additional information and were provided with this promptly.

Staff told us the practice provided a good service and people's needs were appropriately met. They said patients received support which was planned to make sure it met their individual circumstances and were confident any issues would be dealt with appropriately and promptly. The provider did not have a clear procedure for reporting concerns within the workplace.

The provider had an effective system to assess and monitor the quality of the service that people received. Staff confirmed regular meetings and discussions took place where they talked about care and safety.

During a routine inspection

The people we spoke with who used the service were positive about the care they received. They felt their treatment was explained to them well.

We looked at treatment plans which included different options where appropriate and this enabled patients to make an informed choice.

People said their care and support was good and staff provided them with safe and appropriate care, treatment and support to meet their needs.

One person said to us, 'No problems with the care and support provided" and 'The staff have been very good to me.' "The service is excellent"; "I have had no reason to complain."

Patients told us they were either dealt with promptly or if they had to wait; they were told the reasons for the delay.

People were cared for in a clean, well maintained building. People were supported by suitably qualified and experienced staff. People were provided with information that would assist them if they needed to raise concerns or make a complaint.
