During a routine inspection
People told us that they were fully involved in an assessment of their needs before they started to receive a service from Bailey Care. The care plans we viewed contained clear guidance for staff on how to support the person to meet their assessed needs. People we spoke with told us that the agency was reliable and that the care workers always turned up for their visits.
Staff had received safeguarding training and demonstrated to us that they knew who to raise any concerns with. People we spoke with told us that the carers who visited their homes were very nice and made them feel safe. One relative told us 'X gets very excited before the staff come to take him out and always comes back happy. I would know if something was wrong and X was unhappy'.
We found that staff were being supervised in their role. However, all staff were not receiving regular planned supervision meetings with senior staff. The agency had carried out a survey of people and relatives of people who used the service. We saw that the responses were mostly positive and any issues raised had been addressed.
