During a routine inspection

We spoke with ten people on the telephone and asked them about their experience of receiving a service from staff from this agency. All the people we spoke with said they were happy with the standard of care they received. They told us the staff were reliable, knew their job and did it well. One person said their service, "Could not be better..." They said that the care workers who supported them at home were "...all very reliable. Very sociable and kind." Another person said, "They are all very professional. They know their job." Only one person commented that "...sometimes if they are running late they don't always let me know, but otherwise I am pleased with what they do for me."

During a routine inspection

We spoke with three people who use the service. We also spoke with four relatives about their views of the care provided by the agency.

Most of the people we spoke with were very satisfied with the care supplied by the service. Staff were generally seen as friendly and respectful.

People largely praised the service: ' I would not want to lose the staff I have. They could not be better'. 'I have never had any complaints but if I had I think the agency would put it right'. 'I had a problem with one of my carers, so the agency replaced her '. 'I like it much better now that the carers remain the same. The agency had changed this as I used to get lots of carers which I didn't like'. 'There is no problem with me feeling safe with my carers.'
