During a routine inspection
Family members told us 'They treat us with care and respect' 'Over and above requirements' and 'Care is absolutely fine'
Staff told us 'It's a really good place to work' 'I think we provide an excellent service to our service users, we do our best for them' 'It's a good company to work for' and 'We respect people's choices, we might not agree with them but we respect them'
We observed staff treating people with respect, compassion and kindness. The staff clearly had a good relationship with the people in their care including family members. We observed staff trying to keep people as independent as possible and respecting individual choices.
People who use the service are given a range of choices such as what day and time to receive personal care assistance and we noted that some people had printed details identifying the name of the carer who would be arriving, at what time and on what day. Family members told us that communication was very good and they could always contact someone if they needed to.
