During a routine inspection
The people we spoke with told us that they were involved in making decisions about how care is to be provided. One person told us, "We put our heads together and try and come up with what is best."
We looked at several care plans and they showed that people had been involved in making decisions about their care. For example, we saw copies of care plan reviews and specific requests for care workers with particular language skills, we also saw in daily records where people had been given choice.
Staff told us they were happy working for Angels and that they thought they provided good quality care. Staff told us that they have enough time to provide the care required however sometimes peoples health needs change and the care takes longer. The manager and staff we spoke with told us that they monitor the extra time required and bring it to the attention of social services; the people who purchase the care.
