The people who use the service told us they felt very involved in their care and treatment at The Beaufort Clinic. They said they received a good explanation of their care and treatment including the costs and any risks and benefits involved. They said they were asked to consent to their treatment and any questions they had were answered. They told us they knew information was available for them and along with the doctor's advice this allowed them to make informed decisions about their care and treatment. They felt their privacy was respected at the service. People told us they had been asked about their medical history including any allergies they experienced or medication they were taking and this was updated on each visit. They said the doctor displayed a good awareness of their medical situation. People told us they found the appointments system straightforward and were always able to get an appointment suitable for their needs.
People said they felt comfortable with the way they were treated by friendly and welcoming staff. They said they had a high level of confidence in the doctor's competence and were aware of his qualifications and experience.
The people we spoke with said they had no cause to raise a concern about the service. They said they didn't know the formal procedures for raising a concern or providing feedback about their experiences. Some of the people we spoke with said they were confident about raising any issue directly with staff.
One person described her experience of the service as: 'Absolutely fantastic. The quality of treatment and results is fantastic. I have and will continue to recommend it to others'. Another person said: 'It's a friendly, modern service. They know what they're doing and I would have no hesitation in recommending their service'.
