During a routine inspection
A second person told us that the staff members were 'wonderful' and that they were 'very happy' with the support they received. We asked each person we spoke with if they felt the staff or manger could have done anything better for them. No one could think of anything which they thought needed improvement.
We observed staff interacting with the people they were caring for and saw that staff knew the people they were caring for well. For example, they talked with the people about the activities planned and their interests. Staff and people living at the service got on well together and we noted a happy, relaxed atmosphere.
The service supported people to take their medication and raised concerns where this was appropriate.
We found that people were cared for by staff who were supported to deliver care and support safely and to an appropriate standard.
