Hinchingbrooke Hospital was rated as inadequate and placed into special measures in September 2014.
Carers of patients with severe disabilities or dementia receive a passport that allows free or concessionary parking, a free hospital meal, and for them to stay at the hospital. There is also an Admiral Nurse in acute services - a dementia nurse whose sole role is to care for carers.
The hospital was rated as good in August 2016.
