If you represent a health or social care organisation, find out how you can request to visit CQC.
To request a visit to CQC, please complete the form below and return it to Government.Engagement@cqc.org.uk.
All requests will be sent to our public affairs team who may pass them to other relevant teams within CQC.
We accept no more than 12 delegation visit requests a year.
Prioritising requests
The request must come from recognised sources e.g. health ministries, embassies, and consulates (although allowance will be made for individual country practice), and must be a potential learning exercise for CQC.
We also consider:
- the status of the visitor.
- any existing agreements with the Department of Health and the Government.
- whether the request supports a developing country.
Our requirements
To enable us to fully meet the needs of the request, we will need:
- at least four weeks notice.
- a written request that sets out the aims of the visit, how the visitor intends to use the information gained from the visit, a contact name and number.
Important information
- We do not accept requests from groups larger than 20.
- Requests from journalists will be passed on to the press office.
- We cannot accept requests from students, but we will however, provide relevant slides to assist them.
When making a request, please be aware that we cannot:
- arrange external appointments for visits.
- arrange transport, hotels or other requirements outside of CQC offices.
- supply gifts for visits.
- manage administration duties on behalf of visits.
