We're inspecting Tameside Hospital NHS Foundation Trust from 8 August.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent health and adult social care regulator. Our job is to check whether hospitals, care homes, GPs, dentists and services in your home are meeting national standards.

In August our inspectors will be undertaking a comprehensive inspection, which means that it will look at areas of concern identified during our inspection in April 2015 including the safe management of medicines particularly controlled drugs and the provision of training and appraisals to both nursing and medical staff.
